So it's okay for the guys at work to talk about their sex lives and how many women they'd like to "do," and how it's so annoying that "women never want open relationships," but the moment I interject that "yes, it's dumb that we're taught from day one that you're only allowed to have sex with one person at a time or else you're a cheating asshole--I mean, that's no fun. My only rule is that I want to participate."

...Dead silence.

Someone says, "wow, yeah, you should've stopped a long time ago. I didn't need to hear that."

Hypocrisy, anyone?

Yeah, that's a pretty despicably hypocritical response your co-workers had. I think you made them very uncomfortable (which is a good thing) and they just didn't know how to handle it. If the reality of their desire situation were to ever present itself, I doubt those guys would have the testicular fortitude to actually do it.
