luna_manarWell, I'm on my new schedule at work, now--10 hours a day, 4 days a week--and it's awesome. The last time I was on a schedule like this was about a year ago, so it's a welcome return to something that doesn't fuck with my sleep patterns. Also, 3 days off in a row, w00t.
It also helps that things seem to have eased up a little at work. I convinced my boss that it made no sense for Tech Support to be taking overflow customer service calls when we're being lambasted about how we never work our ticket queue. How are we supposed to work our queue during idle time when we have no idle time?
So, for the most part, we don't take overflow calls anymore. There is still one queue that overflows to us, but I've been told we can't change it, and it doesn't matter too much because people rarely call into that line.
I have bluebirds nesting in my back yard! Exciting! They are so pretty. =)
