Blind Russian
Nov. 11th, 2010 02:16 amSo, like...I have nothing useful to talk about. I *want* to talk about a lot of things, but I'm really tired. I should just go to bed.
I cut my cable today. By which I mean, I can watch almost all of the shows I used to watch on the Internet, for $110 less than I was paying before. I feel kind of sad, because my DVR is gone, and if I want HD, I'll have to watch Blu-ray or stream Netflix, but things are just too tight right now for me to justify spending $160 a month on cable.
It required a little rearranging of video game consoles. The Wii that was in the living room is now in the study, the one that was in the study is now in the den, and the PS3 is now the sole Netflix machine in the living room. Got that? =P
The TV that was in my bedroom is now useless there, so it has been moved to the kitchen to act as a monitor for the kitchen computer, which used to have a monitor but hasn't for months now since we gave it to Owen's mom.
See what I mean when I say I have nothing to talk about?
And for anyone who thinks that I must have way too much money to own all these things: no, not really, I just prioritize these things higher than most people with my income. Mostly because I live with two boys.
(And I don't mean boys, as in males. I mean boys, as in boys. They fit the stereotype.)
